1Gateways communication is based on messages. Listener and Sender Plugins establish a connection to the standard API of the various product endpoints.

- Routing function for “one to many” or “many to many” relations between endpoints
- Mapping function to modify/enrich messages to be aligned with its destination endpoint

Setup Endpoints
1Gateway plugins connect to either source or destination endpoints using standard APIs. The setup defines the message flow between the various Listener and Sender endpoint plugins.
